Wen Meng-Wei’s ink paintings express his unique views about life. The Winding shows a monotonous and serene landscape composed of dots of varying densities. The rising hills are contrasted against floating clouds. Two eagles with their wings spread and soaring freely in the sky are the only colored elements in the picture. The artist treats every ink dot as a means to communicate inner emotions.
