WANG Chien-Yang integrated numerous elements from lovely cartoons and fairytales to create a theater-like setting with a labyrinth of memories shared by the toys and their master. HOUSE – Labyrinth of Memories is a work from the HOUSE series that transformed the house into a private, imaginary theater, creating a stage that incorporated many fantasy elements of otaku culture. Numerous colorful toys were allowed to pile up against a dark background, taking viewers on a journey away from the real world into a surreal experience of virtual joy and fantasies.
