WANG Chien-Yang uses nude models in place of actual characters in order to convey the state of innocence and freedom. Fun and virtual environments are used to lead viewers into an imaginary and surreal world. The resulting photographs and sceneries inspire fantasies that are related to the otaku culture. Beijing House Series – Yurt Hunter¬ shows a Mongolian yurt and a girl in the middle of a jump as she immerses herself in an imaginary hunt. The yurt is also filled with balloons, toy tigers, and lions, animals that the girl has successfully captured.
