SU Chung-Ming derives creative inspiration from nature and everyday life, and uses unique Chinese ink painting technique to convey innermost emotions. A Forest Trail in Mist shows a dense mountain forest extending along the mountain slopes as far as the eyes could see. Swirls of cloud float across the woods to create a realm of fantasy. A brook meanders down the slope, flowing into the lake where stones are strewn about under the small waterfall. Different colors were utilized to create a sanctuary where the mind and spirit can seek refuge.
