HSIEH Yi-Ju is skilled in using acrylic paint. Her personal experiences and flow of consciousness were employed to capture minute changes to mental states. Time Travel depicts bright and brilliant color tones that provide an excessively splendorous composition to give it a fairy tale-like atmosphere. Lambs, leopards, cats, and small animals living in this surreal realm surround a girl trying to create a boat-shaped forest, forming a circus-like image with magical powers. And it is such magical powers that HSIEH Yi-Ju has drawn upon to sustain the ongoing dialog with her memories.
