LEE Yeh-Lin once used sound as his creative media, but has recently taken up the camera to portray documentary shots of human landscapes that he had focused on. LEE Yeh-Lin uses the technique of candid photographs with streetscapes exclusive to Taiwan as the setting to generate a series of works. In the Long Run depicts a public cemetery next to an industrial area to showcase Taiwan’s unique burial practices and customs. LEE Yeh-Lin’s documentary photographs and cityscape shots constructs and reflects the current state of Taiwan’s cultural diversity and heterogeneity.
