Artist HO Mu-Tien got the master degree of photography in University of Brighton, England. Her creations are inspired by her attention to daily scenes and the relationship between space and individuals. The photographic work series Home is created for being attracted by the large window confronting the road at the center of British buildings when she was studying in England. In the work, three various window scenes present the daily life of three different households. For her, home is a harbor of refuge providing a space for us to relax and rest. However, the window serves as the border between the indoor private space and the outdoor public fields. The window of each household presents various foreign daily lives. As a foreigner, HO Mu-Tien presents the daily scenes from a peeping, alienating, and foreign perspective through the theatric arrangement.
