Artist JUANG Rei-Hsien is good at simplifying the external image of things and building the perceptual tension of the image with colors, shapes, and symbols in her paintings. In his work Mountains and Qingyuan, the artist takes black and white as the main structures respectively on both sides of the center on the canvas. On the edges are assistant colors such as blue, brown, and yellow. The image looks dynamic with bright contrast without conflicts. The texture left by the color blocks brushed on the canvas increases the dreamlike atmosphere for the image. JUANG Rei-Hsien looks for inspiration from ordinary things in life.
