Artist JUANG Rei-Hsien is good at simplifying the external image of things and building the perceptual tension of the image with colors, shapes, and symbols in her paintings. In his work Yellow Danube, he applies colorful paints to depict the grey island and yellow river. The black lines form the thin branch and chair. Although the overall colors are gloomy and dark, the decoration of white and light blue makes the image full of rhythms and poetic. JUANG Rei-Hsien looks for inspiration from ordinary things in life.
