CHANG Chiung-Fang’s artworks adopt a child-like graffiti and artistic language to share inner fantasies and imaginations. Mickey Mouse? shows a strangely shaped dog-shaped mouse accompanied by other strange animals in a world filled with innocent and imaginary elements. The world is where these animals could subject themselves to subjugation or liberation from rules and order. CHANG Chiung-Fang uses graffiti as the base that is then surrounded by figurative elements created by crayons that link the various areas across the canvas. Brilliant colors and intuitive graphics are used for inner reflection and to rediscover innocence and the root of emotional sensations by adopting a child’s perspective.
