Besides museums, how can contemporary art get closer to people's lives? Let the everyday become a magical imagination!

Located in the historical center of Taichung City, Art Bank Taiwan 's main mission is to collect works of Taiwan's original artists and circulate them through a rental model. The aim is to bring art out of museums and into the everyday lives, creating diverse environments for appreciating art, and promoting Taiwanese artists to the general public to cultivate future collectors.

Founded in 2013, Art Bank Taiwan is now in its 10th year of operation. In the face of the challenges of the next decade, we believe that artworks can become a kind of "daily companion" in people's lives. With the concept of art and urban life, we have linked the visual windows of the Art Bank with the scenes of the stores in the hitsorical center town , and through the artworks, we hope that people can " A Scene To Go" in their daily.

5 life proposals

Five life proposals were created by inviting five lifestyle creators from different professional fields. In collaboration with the store managers, they selected pieces from Taiwan Art bank's collection to create the scenery inside the store and bring the imagination of art entering everyday life to reality.

What cannot be taken away is the scenery, but what can be taken away is the life scenery.

The connection between the five living scenes not only creates a Art Map in the hitsorical center town of Taichung City, but also portrays the outline of a day-life circle. As visitors follow the path and explore, the art presented in the stores reveals the magical imagination beyond the daily life.

5 Living Theatres

Art Bank Taiwan has invited a virtual persona "Fameme",  created by renowned Asian artist Yu Cheng-Ta, to be the spokesperson for this exhibition. The artist plays the role of an " international celebrity tourist " who visits the hitsorical center of Taichung City with curious eyes and lively performances. Through contemporary art, five partner stores have been transformed into urban living theaters that take place both on the internet and in the real world through video.
