Artwork Appreciation
LIU Yu-Fang’s creative inspiration is mainly based on daily life. Textures and experiences from everyday surroundings are converted into dots, lines, and surfaces in the composition. Corner 2 comprises the contrasting orange and green color tones to create the basic hues and spatial arrangement. The mottled mountains in the foreground and background create a visual depth, while the interspersed clay beads and lines represent random and occasional dynamic elements. LIU Yu-Fang’s works are filled with simple, unelaborate, and rustic atmosphere. The style of panel art and various media are used in combination to represent the wondrous landscapes of everyday life and her mind.
