Artist Lin Kun-Ying is good at transforming observations of daily life into contemplative and quiet experiences through cross-media approaches. Once, during a break in his work, he took a rest in a sunlit corner. The peaceful atmosphere made him lost in thought . . . He condensed his rare feeling into the work Perfectly Strange #13, Serenity in Flight. Combining painting and projection, the space in the painting appears to be just a few walls and window views at first glance, but as the projection changes, the lights and shadows of the window views and the room slowly change and move. Watching these changes in light and shadow, it seems as if you can see pure time flowing through your body. Lin Kun-Ying tries to recreate blank moments when he is lost in thought, and through body perception, he allows the viewer to unconsciously feel such moments. In the video, the swaying shadows of the trees and the small plane flying into the house from the window also make people experience surprisingly abundant energy in the tranquility.
