CHIANG Kai-Chun has studied art in France since 2013 and pays much attention to the research on the mosaic and digital image techniques. Nephrite: Hakka Dinner presents a rich Hakka dinner in digital printing. Various traditional Hakka dishes are on colorful flower cloth, and the flower cloth is decorated with beautiful Nephrite from his hometown Fengtian village in Hualien. Hakka people have experienced how the process of mining the Nephrite becomes over-exploitation. CHIANG Kai-Chun's work combines the Hakka elements and Nephrite mosaic in a simplified way. Through the special mixed media work, the legendary story of Fengtian village is told.
