Withered Fortress is inspired by the environmental pollution of human industrial activities. LIN Li-Wei believes that the rapid development of the industry is the culprit of climate change. When the environment is overwhelmed, natural forces will swallow up artificial objects. In the center of the picture, there is a castle-like building standing on a huge rock. The rock is full of artificial traces. The green moss shows the power of nature and time. The building above depicts a large factory with many complex pipeline structures. However, the giant building is all alone on the sea. When resources are exhausted, all things finally return to their natural states, leaving only traces of civilization that no longer exist.
