作品賞析
TU Chih-Wei's Breeding Place III is inspired by the pruning of street trees in Taiwan. After the trees are cut, the branches germinate again with green leaves, and the trunks of the trees have a zigzag posture because of the rope binding. Humans try to reorganize the natural appearance by trimming trees, but the branches and leaves continue to grow and sprout, reflecting the wrestling between the artificial and the natural. TU Chih-Wei's works are mostly related to construction sites. She develops a series of daily landscapes, which mostly explore issues between humans and the environment. By discussing the constructing and changing states of artificial coverage and destruction, it also points out uncertainty and nihilism in daily life.
