SU Yu-Ting creates a series of etchings on the theme of Taiwan's landscapes. Shuanglian Reservoir is inspired by Yilan City, which is her second hometown. Shuanglian Reservoir is a low-altitude wetland located in Yilan City, and it is also the only reservoir in Taiwan with a natural island. A mini floating island in the center of the picture depicts wild ginger flowers and a rare green kingfisher. The characteristics of etching show viewers the bird's fine feathers, slender beaks, and bright eyes. The mountains surround this beautiful wetland form a distance. The golden background and the deliberately enlarged green kingfisher subtly add the charm of mixing between reality and fiction.
