CHIANG Yu-Hsuan observes islands during her trips and reflects on the connection and relationship between the environment and people who live in it. Gaze the View of Other Island uses the etching technique on copper plate to show delicate lines, presenting the winding tree texture. Dry branches are intertwined at the top of the picture, and mountains are connected in the distance. CHIANG Yu-Hsuan believes that because people in Taiwan live on an island, it is difficult to see the whole picture. Only when people are looking at the island from a different place, will they understand that the island stands like a giant, supporting everything on the sea.
