CHIANG Yu-Hsuan is good at using the gravure copper etching as the medium for creation to produce unique scenery in the imagination. In the work, Forest of Decay, she uses a delicate and complicated technique to present a dark and deep, seemingly endless forest. The plants in this forest flourish and seem to have never been discovered by humans, still maintaining their ancient and primitive state. The trees are already withering and decaying, and on the intertwined and tangled branches of the forest, there seems to be a lively strange beast. CHIANG Yu-Hsuan’s unique fantasy of the nature shows the inseparable relationship between nature and organisms.
