HU Tung-Ming takes the connotation of natural laws to construct his own natural microcosm. Billow applies stainless steel polishing technique to present the smooth texture of the flowing water. It hovers in the form of a circle. The changing light and shadow reflecting on the steel surface creates a dynamic image of living water. HU Tung-Ming reverses the theme and materiality in his practice. He believes that there should be more possibilities in material and shapes. Expressing the flexibility of water with the toughness of metal, the circular smooth shape signifies the harmony of all. HU Tung-Ming deconstructs the stereotype of the texture, breaks through the conventional impression, and approaches a deeper self-inquiry.
