HU Tung-Ming derives creative inspiration and elements from nature in an attempt to create a diverse, infinite, and tolerant world. Run uses marble and metal to portray the reflective texture of forged metals and the warm and mild textures of stone. Metal is portrayed in an organic form wrapped around the stone. The spiraling form reminds viewers of the infinite cycles and orbits of the world. HU Tung-Ming’s sculptures adopt properties of both rational and emotional elements to capture the unchanged and persistent faith even with the seasonal changes.
