作品賞析
LIN Yu-Nung admires the spirit of Song Dynasty painters, reorganizing time and space onto the paper as the pratice of personal value. Landscape painting employs subtleties to reveal painters’ cognition and discription of the world, it is also a process to approach real rocks, and mountains and a mechanism to have a spiritual conversation with the masters and oneself. Gyokusendo Cave is painted in light ink on silk, it expressing LIN Yu-Nung’s perception of Okinawa Yuquan Cave. The gradient ink outlines the body of stalactites, the light ink lines render the diamond shape in the center. Lin speaks of his memories of Okinawa Yuquan Cave with the sense of time, forming an isolated space which is just like a Utopia.
