LIN Yu-Nung obtains the method in viewing and describing the world from the ink landscape painting. He especially loves the landscape paintings from the Northern Song Dynasty, recognizing the world that people live in through the large landscapes and a grand perspective. The Great A Baoa Qu, named "A Baoa Qu", comes from the name of a fortress of a universe in the Japanese anime Mobile Suit Gundam. The complicated and detailed brushstrokes in the picture stack up a cone-shaped, strange stone. This stone may be just a tiny sand particle in the microscopic world. It may also be a huge and spectacular mountain, even a stardust in a universe. LIN Yu-Nung responds to the different world views from ancient to current times with mythical and poetic landscapes.
