YANG Chen-Hua loves to collect all kinds of objects in life, such as: strange stones, dead wood, old toys, ornaments, etc., and use these objects as elements to record moments in life. In the work, Landscape, he tries to present the appearance, posture, and texture of his collection in the same way as life drawings, and through his imagination of the scenery, the objects are transformed into a Chinese garden landscape. YANG Chen-Hua follows his own state of mind and creates unique portraits for these objects, as if they are permanently collected and sealed in the picture. For him, these objects may appear to be ordinary and inconspicuous, but they exude an extraordinary temperament, implying a memory of history and personal emotions.
