HUANG Wan-Ling’s work R301, Room18 Studio, is different from her previous observations on the cultural phenomena in the "Gongyangren" series. This series focuses mainly on the conception of painting. In this ink painting, there is an indoor space like a studio with various furniture and supplies. However, the painting is composed in a panoramic manner, which is a method of perspective that only appears in digital photography, showing a structural image that cannot be seen with human eyes. At the same time, a variety of paper materials are pasted and stacked to form an imagination of overlapping and misplaced time and space. The oriental paintings are usually in multi-point perspectives to show the disappearing point of movement while Western paintings are dominated by single-point perspectives to conform to the human eye structure. HUANG Wan-Ling tries to explore the structural issue of paintings with radial perspective without endpoints.
