HUANG Shih-Tuan was born during the Kinmen August 23 artillery battle, leading him to adopt the memories and emotional ties to his hometown as his creative theme. Joy of Celebration uses curves of eastern totems to provide an image of auspicious clouds. The graduating tones of seven colors are like fires and colors of mythology and legend. HUANG Shih-Tuan uses both shapes, color, brilliance, changes in brightness, and lines to construct an imaginative space. His works integrate modern and eastern elements to provide a colorful composition that convey lifestyle experiences of different times.
