LIANG Yi-Fen’s works integrate eastern and western art styles and are inspired by elements of Taiwanese folk culture, featuring both modernist and primal. Black Beauty 13 illustrates the various forms of soft, feminine beauty. Wallpaper with minimalist lines is used as a background, against which a woman, portrayed entirely black and outlined in white, elegantly rests on a wide and comfortable sofa, while the lines and colors of her clothes complement her curvaceous form.
