WU Shih-Chun uses still life studies and meticulous realist techniques to capture fleeting moments of time. The Good Old Days shows a forgotten glass filled with icy water with beads of condensed water on the glass surface. Another ice cube was placed on the ice cube, melting as time passes by. Puddles formed by the condensed water on the glass and melting ice form trails on the table surface, while the glass, ice cube, and metal spoon sparkle in silence. WU Shih-Chun created this intricate illustration in order to immerse viewers in the sensation of flowing time.
