CHI Jung-Hao employs traditional Chinese ink painting techniques in modern artworks to create a unique style of ink paintings. The Sunset at Shueitou, Kinmen shows a sun setting in the horizon. Lines and graduating tones of color create the boundaries between the ocean and the skies. The sinking sun has dyed the seawaters red. Black dots scattered along the foreground represent a gravel beach, while deep blue patches in the far ground represent clouds and coastal breakwaters where a lonely lighthouse is nestled within.
