LO Chia-Hui’s Rain uses an abstract presentation to display trails of memory and consciousness. The artist used pencils to create lines that depict speed as well as spontaneous techniques and drip effects to recreate the chaos of memories and consciousness. Irregular blocks and forms of light gray colors, combined with black lines and brush strokes, generate an emotional atmosphere of nostalgia and age. LO Chia-Hui used these representative symbols to project her inner spirit, convey the residual marks of visual memory, and the realistic emotions within the inner mindscape.
