JHANG Jhen-Rong has always been attracted by natural landscapes filled with biological energy in order to reflect her innermost desires. Lunch Break by JHANG Jhen-Rong made use of a single tone and simple contours to illustrate a mountain range. The mountains, huddled close together, seemed to be emotionally dependent upon each other. Fine brushstrokes of multiple colors have been employed to decorate these mountains with verdant and bountiful mantles. A long, meandering river flows serenely along the foot of the mountain, adding peace and harmony to the composition. JHANG Jhen-Rong’s works are characterized by the limited number of artistic décor, and aim to convert the simple experiences of mountain viewing into a subtle and relaxed experience manifested upon the canvas.
