CHI Hui-Min is extremely focused upon photography, often studying and contemplating about objects and life through camera lenses. Zhong Xing New Village is composed of 6 photographic compositions that record the tree-shaded avenues, neat rows of housing, and verdant trees lined up in front of the living areas. Different angles were used to capture and record the growth and subsequent deterioration of Zhong Xing New Village at Nantou County. CHI Hui-Min employed photography not only as a means of recording his personal history, but also as a means of reflecting upon the uncertain future brought about by temporal and spatial changes.
