Artist HSU Chin-Yen has paid attention to issues such as human rights and equality for years. He is good at expanding the fixed image of ink art through the expressions of elaborate-style painting, transfer printing, and collage. In his work The Unspoken Rules, HSU Chin-Yen applies the splendid image of kaleidoscope he saw in his childhood to the structure of the painting. The eye-catching and splendid pattern is composed by the regular transfer printing and intersection of two sets of male body with floral patterns. At the center of the painting is a flower in bud.
