作品賞析
With technological advancements, people’s lives are increasingly intertwined with computer information. A computer overheating and subsequent disappearance of a work before installation sparked new insights and inspiration for artist Huang Zan-Lun, who began incorporating computer components into his work. Upon first viewing this work, the most eye-catching feature is the large expanse of copper-foiled IC boards, followed by the central figure, who has his arms outstretched and head bowed. Huang Zan-Lun employs classical oil painting techniques to layer realistic textures on virtual figures, deliberately using copper leaf to create a “golden” hue that is difficult to reproduce digitally. By integrating oil painting techniques with technology, the artist not only explores the question of whether his paintings are portraits or still lifes, but also expresses his belief in the increasingly blurred line between human life and computer technology.
