作品賞析
HUANG Zan-Lun is involved in image, sculpture and graphic creations. He attempts to explore the real value of human beings from issues such as species reproduction, gene duplication, technology, hybrid creatures and the imagination of human-machine monsters, pondering upon the relationship between the development of civilization and the life of species. The woman in the work, Marry Ann the Second, appears to be a cross-species artificial creature. Under her beautiful appearance, it is a mechanically constructed hybrid body with a sad face and eyes, suggesting that she still retains the soul of a human being. With things and possibilities that are not yet foreseeable, HUANG Zan-Lun is able to carry out any new type of situation that juxtaposes the virtual world with reality, interlacing the future, the past and the present to develop an unknown vision of the existence of life and future civilization.
