LIN Jyun-Yan often uses photos as foundations of paintings. In Morning Theater-1, there is a gas station and an empty road in the picture. Under the staggered brush strokes, the viewer can see the scene is patched up from different angles. The white arrow signs show how to look at different perspectives. LIN Jyun-Yan believes that the experience of overlapping images produces traces of moving viewpoints and a sense of shaking, which makes the work dynamic. The photographic images are transformed into paintings through the emotional projection of the artist's feelings, thereby discussing the relationship between time, space and physical location.
