CHOU Hsin-Yi's Overlap depicts the space in which animals exist with pastel colors and gold foil. The gold and black blocks succinctly shape the image of the mountains, stones, and clouds. Three cows are inserted symbolically in it to highlight the strong spatial layer from top to bottom and front to back. The tranquility of the picture flows slowly like landscapes, colorful clouds, and time, making viewers feel the life energy of animals in the space. CHOU Hsin-Yi strengthens the layers of imagery in her works, and her creation is like a process of continuous self-dialysis. From her concerns and emotions of land and life, she then realizes herself.
