CHOU Hsin-Yi creates a fantasy space in The Call of Polar, it contains various polar creatures and strange natural landscapes. There are many penguins on the top of the cliff. On the upper right, penguins leap from the cliff, and the sea surface turns into a flat blue circle as if all creatures could see the ecological activities under the water. The seals on the water show a lazy posture, while the underwater seals swim leisurely. There are also killer whales with black and white features swimming in the water. The overall composition is concise with soft colors. By interpreting the existence of polar animals, CHOU Hsin-Yi tries to evoke people's awareness of polar ecology.
