The protagonist of LIAO Yu-An's Testing Water Temperature is a duck with human legs. In a space with a hot spring mark, the duck carefully tests the water temperature. Its swim ring and flippers convey people's desire and fear of being hurt before they want to start a new relationship. LIAO Yu-An believes that we all yearn for more special communications with others, maybe unique friendships, unforgettable love, or the care and obsession with the small things around us. Regardless of the object or lack of object , we are as careful as the duck looking forward to crossing each other's barriers and stepping into different fields of life.
