作品賞析

Most of LIU Yu-Fang's creative inspiration comes from life. She transforms her feelings from life into the dots, lines, and surfaces in the picture. The work, Boundless 1, deconstructs the rational image of the print, reorganizing it into a picture with a mottled or flat texture. The recurring cloud symbols represent the longing for freedom. Tailoring materials such as buttons and threads have also become the shaping elements in the picture. They are intimate companions when growing up and are also an expression for memory. LIU Yu-Fang uses familiar materials, beautiful colors, and a form of deconstruction to commemorate the warmth of the sun and the taste of the air at a certain moment in life, seeking the freedom and satisfaction from some sort of exile.
