CHANG Po-Chieh often uses technological tools in life as a creative idea to explore the experiences between people. In the work, Contrast Medium of Time, the photographic film is handed over to a traveling friend so the friend can take photos to be remembered. He buries the film he received from friends and takes it out after a year, with the final film shows signs of molding. The tree-like image presented by the mold looks like four record photos of treetops in the dark. CHANG Po-Chieh seals the film to let time make its own mark, trying to explore the subtle relationship between people, one that is intertwined and yet cannot be seen.
