作品賞析

HUANG Yen-Chao’s work 1.2.3…100(red yellow green) uses three colors as the base of the painting, and adheres glue bubbles, a common toy from his childhood, to the composition. Every bubble completed is provided with a number label. Some of the bubbles have already burst, while others remain intact. The trails of sticky glue of the bubbles were used to replace the brushstrokes and form a unique set of logic and information together with the number labels. HUANG Yen-Chao uses a game-like physical sensation to convey a sense of inner conflict and paralysis when dealing with external information and signals.
