SHEN Chin-Yuan’s works are based on records of daily activities. Having lived in various countries, his works include both emotions and impacts derived from eastern and western cultures. My Porsche is a surreal figurative presentation. The black and white composition depicts a beautiful horse leaning forward in a gallop. The meticulously illustrated hair and mane of the horse give off a warm hue. Speed lines are added to the background to symbolize the lightning quick speed of the horse.
