Joyce Ho’s creative method spans multiple genres of painting, installation art, and photography, generating works that present the realistic, intimate, yet isolated interpersonal relationships based on observations of daily surroundings. Semi-Transparent One is an attempt to investigate the sensations of displacement and illusions experienced in daily life. The work shows a girl suspended in mid-air wearing a rabbit mask and a dress that cling tightly to her body, creating a familiar yet strangely surreal atmosphere.
