作品賞析

Meika Walisi is from the Seediq tribe and his works often convey the ethnic spirit and cultural features of his nation. Hero uses abstract lines and color patches to depict three brave Seediq warriors clad in traditional capes and red colored robes. The warriors are also adorned with head bands and ear pieces as well as traditional tattoos that highlight their special statuses and heoric achievements. The narcissus represent purity, while the sun represents their indomitable will. Meika Walisi uses this artwork as an eulogy for Mona Rudao and the brave warriors and heroes of the Seediq people as a means by which the future generation can remember their great deeds.
