CHOU Ming-Yi’s Time Series 100 uses colors and lines as elements to construct different interpretations and imaginations of time and space. One of the two compositions depict straight lines of different colors intersecting and overlapping each other perpendicularly, while the other shows a single-colored background with a geometric form where the lines intersect each other repeatedly. Both compositions show a unique arrangement of lines and colors that convey ideas about order, rhythm, and time. CHOU Ming-Yi uses the principle of changing colors and brushstroke techniques to create a uniquely abstract and geometric conceptual image.
