Wash 1 describes a particular facet of his life. An office worker wearing a white shirt is a repeated motif of his work. The worker is shown stuck in a watery quagmire with his head bowed in exhaustion while his brain is being bombarded with information stored in his electronic device. Another office worker is shown trying to fish for useful information from the brain. Candy Bird uses a humorous style to convey the trapped lives filled with helplessness, chaos, and oppression led by modern humans as well as his concerns for the difficulties his nation faced.
