HUANG Yu-Tzu’s artwork reflects the state of crowds of people and animals. Dance for Me depicts a moment of inspiration that took place when the artist returns to the workshop. The artwork portrays a mysterious organism whose body has disappeared, leaving only the trunk and limbs that seem to be dancing about. HUANG Yu-Tzu created this odd-looking organism using existing forms and imaginations, using a body bereft of everything but the trunk and limbs to symbolize the basal biological instinct for mobility. She uses artworks to refine and preserve flashes of thought to convey the heat during moving and physical responses to the external state and moments in life.
