TZENG Yong-Ning derives artistic inspirations from traditional folk symbols and colors, using ballpoint pens to create dazzling artworks. BLOOM43 is a blooming flower based upon the Mandala pattern, generating a formation of seemingly infinite concentric circles arranged in an orderly and rhythmic pattern that extends to cover the entire canvas. Numerous lines and concentric circles were integrated with changing color patches to generate a visual rhythm. TZENG Yong-Ning has always been interested in the unending cycles of life, using repeated strokes to generate trails that convey the ebb and flow of life and its deeper meanings.
