LIU Hsiao-Hui’s Dotted Line is a behavioral artwork based upon the natural environment. This photograph was taken at Qixingtan in Hualien at the end of summer. 2 packs of flour were used to create a dashed line extending from the concrete stairs through the gravel banks. LIU Hsiao-Hui attempted to establish a harmonious coexistence between her artworks and nature, personally carrying out actions not impacting the natural environment in order to converse with the natural world and explore the various meanings of life.
